Description
Be the reason curb appeal turns heads. As a Groundskeeper, you start with a sweep of the property: trash collection, tidying of breezeways and amenities, and keeping shared spaces spotless all day. You support light landscaping, seasonal tasks, and winter weather response, and you flag hazards or repairs for the maintenance team. Turnover assistance may be occasionally needed. Expect plenty of steps, fresh air, and visible results. If you notice the little things and move with purpose, you’ll make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Daily grounds pickup; trash and recycle management; common-area cleaning.
- Assist with landscaping, mulching, watering, and seasonal plant care.
- Snow/ice removal and de-icing as assigned.
- Power-wash and clean breezeways, sidewalks, and amenities.
- Report hazards, damages, and work order needs to maintenance.
- Support pool/janitorial tasks and event setups as trained.
Physical Requirements
- Work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.
- Lift/push/pull 50 lbs.; extended walking and standing.
- Operate basic grounds equipment safely (with training).
Qualifications
- Grounds or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks on schedule
