Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing and test equipment to support production operations
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, electromechanical, and automated equipment
- Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Support installation, setup, qualification, and validation of new manufacturing equipment and tooling
- Calibrate and verify equipment in accordance with established schedules, procedures, and quality standards
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and work instructions
- Support minor equipment modifications, retrofits, and upgrades to improve safety, performance, and reliability
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering on process improvements and equipment optimization initiatives
- Document equipment issues, maintenance activities, calibration records, and corrective actions
- Support production during equipment-related issues and participate in continuous improvement activities (Lean, 5S, root cause analysis)
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety requirements, operating procedures, and company standards
- Perform other duties within the scope of the role as assigned
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field or equivalent technical experience
- 3 years of experience supporting manufacturing equipment in a production or industrial environment (preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and electromechanical systems
- Experience using electrical test and measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes)
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance and equipment calibration practices
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Basic soldering and wiring experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word) for documentation and tracking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and respond to production priorities
- Experience supporting power electronics manufacturing or high-voltage equipment
- Experience with manufacturing test equipment, burn-in systems, or automated test setups
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or continuous improvement methodologies
