What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Technology Officer position at EPATHUSA INC?
The CTO will lead Small Business Company’s technology vision, delivery excellence, and innovation strategy with a primary focus on expanding and scaling within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) ecosystem. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, federal capture support, and client-facing strategy to drive growth across CMS and HHS programs.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute company’s technology roadmap aligned to CMS and HHS priorities
- Lead innovation in, AI/ML (Agentic AI, medical record automation), Data governance & interoperability and Cloud modernization (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Serve as a thought leader in CMS program integrity and healthcare IT
- Build reusable accelerators and IP for CMS programs
- Provide executive oversight across company wide technology projects
- Ensure delivery is, On time, within budget and compliant with federal regulations (FAR, CMS standards)
- Act as technical executive interface to all company's customers.
- Lead capability briefings, innovation sessions, and workshops
- Drive quality, scalability, and operational excellence
- Build and lead high-performing teams, Architects, Data scientists and Engineers
- Mentor technical staff and create a culture of innovation and accountability
- Partner with BD and executive leadership to identify, qualify, and capture CMS opportunities.
- Lead technical solutioning for RFPs, RFIs, and proposals
- Support pricing strategies and cost models for proposals
- Engage directly with agency stakeholders (COs, CORs, Program Offices) to position company capabilities
- Align delivery with business growth and profitability goals
- Support oral presentations, tech demos, and white papers
Key Qualifications
- 15 to 20 years in federal healthcare IT, with deep Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) ecosystem experience
- Proven success in winning and delivering CMS contracts
- Strong expertise in, AI/ML, data analytics, and cloud platforms
- Experience leading large-scale federal programs ($25M )
- Strong executive communication and client engagement skills
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or comparable Agile certification
- ITIL certification (ITSM)
Salary : $180,000 - $190,000
