Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate (Shipping & Receiving) is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper handling of all products. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating logistics, and supporting overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping Duties
- Prepare, package, and label orders for shipment according to company standards
- Verify order accuracy (items, quantities, and documentation) before dispatch
- Schedule and coordinate outbound shipments with carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, freight, etc.)
- Generate shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels
- Load outbound shipments safely and efficiently
Receiving Duties
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages, discrepancies, or shortages
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing lists
- Accurately record inventory in the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Unload trucks and safely move materials to designated storage areas
- Report and document damaged or missing items
Inventory & Warehouse Support
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and audits
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus
- Basic computer skills (data entry, email, shipping software)
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack) – certification preferred

- May require overtime, weekends, or flexible scheduling depending on business needs
