The Security Agent acts as a representative of the resort’s commitment to guest safety, service excellence, and a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol resort grounds, guest areas, and employee facilities to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access points.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, medical situations, and guest or employee safety concerns.
- Investigate disturbances, thefts, accidents, or suspicious activities, documenting findings in detailed reports.
- Enforce resort policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and guest-friendly approach.
- Assist guests and staff with directions, lost items, or general inquiries.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as required.
- Maintain key and lock security protocols.
- Support fire and life safety programs, including drills and equipment inspections.
- Provide visible presence during events, peak hours, or high-profile guest visits.
- Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred (hospitality environment a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-service mindset.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, emergency response, and basic first aid/CPR (certification preferred).
- Physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; security training certification preferred.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
