Chico Hot Springs Resort is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support the daily financial operations of our historic resort. This role is a key part of our accounting team and works closely with the Director of Finance, Night Audit, and department leaders to ensure accurate, timely, and well-organized financial records.
The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for accounts payable processing, daily deposits, vendor reconciliations, and a variety of general accounting functions. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a collaborative mindset. What You'll Do
- Process and code vendor invoices accurately using our accounts payable system
- Reconcile vendor statements and schedule timely payments
- Verify daily revenue and identify discrepancies using established procedures
- Enter daily deposit data and count/verify bank deposits and cash on hand
- Manage bookkeeping for employee housing rent collection
- Record miscellaneous income and support general ledger accuracy
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Work closely with Night Audit and help support training and development
- Compile and upload data for monthly ESG reporting
- Maintain organized, clean, and professional work areas
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of accounting experience or an accounting degree
- Experience working with general ledger accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Cash handling and reconciliation experience
- Hospitality industry experience is a plus
- Familiarity with USALI standards is a plus

Pay & Benefits
- Pay: $24.00–$26.50 per hour, depending on experience
