We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Credit & Collections Analyst with a proven background in credit management, collections, and customer account administration. This role is ideal for a professional who can balance strong customer service skills with effective collection strategies while helping protect the financial health of our growing transportation and logistics organization.

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Conduct collection activities through phone, email, and written correspondence while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Review aging reports and proactively address delinquent accounts.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment disputes, and short-pay situations.
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness and process credit applications.
• Make recommendations regarding credit limits, account holds, and payment terms.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Leadership to resolve account issues and reduce collection risk.
• Monitor customer payment trends and identify potential financial concerns.
• Prepare account reconciliations and collection status reports for management.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to cash flow, credit policies, and collection procedures.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Credit Management, Collections, and Accounts Receivable experience.
• Experience evaluating and approving customer credit applications and establishing credit limits.
• Strong understanding of commercial collections and customer account management.
• Proven ability to reduce aging balances and improve collection performance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience within a freight brokerage, third-party logistics (3PL), transportation, or asset-based trucking environment.
• Understanding of freight billing, transportation documentation, and customer payment practices within the logistics industry.
• Experience working with high-volume invoicing and customer account portfolios.
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment and collection best practices within transportation and logistics.
