Activity Director
Envive Healthcare of Anderson is seeking a compassionate and experienced Activity Director to join our team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and implement activities that promote resident engagement, socialization, and overall well-being
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and team members
Collaborate with residents to identify and pursue their interests and hobbies
Supervise and train activity assistants and volunteers
Participate in resident assessments and develop individualized activity plans
Maintain accurate records and reports of resident participation and activity programs
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in activity programming
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
At least 2 years' experience in Activities and Long Term/Healthcare a plus
Management experience in Activities and Long Term/Healthcare a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with seniors
