The Opening
We are currently seeking an Environmental Laborer to be based out of LaPorte, TX to assist with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

- Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities that deal with biological and chemical materials
- Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift
- Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights
- Operates light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, pressure washer.
- The applicant must be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends. Frequent travel is required.
What does it take to work at Environmental Restoration?
- Pass a Pre-Employment drug screening, criminal background check, and physical exam
- Legally eligible to work in the United Stated (Verified through E-Verify)
- Willingness to obtain OSHA (40 hour) Certification
- Ability to work on an on-call basis as business needs require
- Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to wear full face respirator
- Regularly lift and carry 50 pounds
- Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments
