CDL Truck Driver – Environmental Field Service and Emergency Response
Location: Sterling Height, MI
Schedule: Variable with an on-call rotation required

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dependable CDL Truck Driver to join our Environmental Field Service Team. This role is critical to servicing our industrial and commercial customers in the oil amp; gas, chemical, and marine industries along with local, state, and federal agencies. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL vehicles such as vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, and support equipment during emergency and non-emergency response operations
- Load, transport, and unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs, shipping papers, and waste manifests
- Assist emergency response and field teams with containment, cleanup, decontamination, and equipment setup
- Use appropriate PPE and strictly follow site-specific health and safety plans
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, co-workers, and clients
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license
- Clean driving record and ability to meet company motor vehicle and insurance requirements
- Willingness to work variable hours with occasional overnight travel
- Physically capable of working in demanding conditions, including adverse weather and hazardous environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on field support as required
Preferred Qualifications
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
- Previous experience in environmental services, industrial services, or spill response
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (or willingness to obtain; training provided)

Work Environment
This position involves routine field service and emergency response operations at active incident sites and industrial locations. Employees must be able to safely perform work while wearing PPE and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements.
