Description:Job DescriptionJob Title: Estimator / Project ManagerDepartment: Sales Reports To: Regional Branch ManagerJob Overview.The Estimator / Project Manager is responsible for bidding, planning, and managing asbestos abatement projects from initial proposal to final closeout. This dual role combines technical estimating expertise with hands-on project management to ensure projects are safe, compliant, profitable, and completed on schedule. The Estimator / Project Manager serves as the main point of contact for clients, coordinating closely with field supervisors and leadership to deliver successful results. Key Responsibilities.Review project specifications, drawings, and site conditions to prepare accurate cost estimates.Develop and submit competitive bids, proposals, and change orders.Negotiate contracts and build strong client relationships.Plan, schedule, and oversee multiple abatement projects simultaneously.Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local asbestos regulations.Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability.Coordinate with Supervisors and field crews to ensure safe, efficient operations.Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress meetings with clients.Manage project documentation, including notifications, manifests, and closeout reports.Resolve on-site challenges to minimize delays and maintain quality.Requirements:Qualifications3–5 years of asbestos abatement, demolition, or environmental services experience.Proven estimating and project management background.Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating/project management software.Valid Asbestos Supervisor Certification preferred.Must pass medical surveillance, drug screening, and fit testing requirements.
