What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swing Shift Janitorial / Custodian Worker position at Environmental Dynamics?
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented individuals to join our Swing Shift Janitorial Services team. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and professional facilities during evening hours. Candidates must be reliable, have janitorial experience, be able to follow directions, and be willing to assist with a variety of janitorial tasks to support client needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- General cleaning and sanitizing of offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Trash and recycling collection/removal
- Window and glass cleaning
- Restocking supplies (soap, paper products, etc.)
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor
- Following company safety and cleaning protocols
Schedule:
- Swing shift evening schedule (approx. 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.)
- 20–29 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
- Weekend work is possible
Qualifications:
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience required
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation to assigned job sites
