Communications & Events Coordinator
The NLWC is seeking a creative, organized Communications & Events Coordinator to help expand awareness of our mission and programs. This position plays a key role in communications, marketing, media relations, and event coordination to engage our community and strengthen support for NLWC’s work protecting the island’s land and water resources.
Key Responsibilities Include
Developing and implementing communications and marketing strategies
2–4 years of experience in communications, marketing, or event coordination

- Coordinating and generating website, newsletters, social media, and press outreach materials
- Designing digital and print materials
- Planning and executing community and fundraising events
2–4 years of experience in communications, marketing, or event coordination
- Excellent writing, editing, and design skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Nonprofit and/or environmental experience a plus
