Location: Vandalia, OH
- Attend and facilitate jobsite Orientations and adhere to all OSHA and site-specific requirements.
- Review and gain understanding of site-specific safety documents/plans and Amazon Construction
- Safety Conditions.
- Subcontractor shall participate in weekly subcontractor’s coordination meeting.
- Deliver job site orientation to new employees, as assigned.
- Subcontractor to utilize and complete all data entry required by Amazon/GC included but not limited to Avetta, Bolt, Target Zero, CMiC etc.
- Oversee field work, in assigned areas, for compliance with site-specific and OSHA requirements.
- Promote trade partner safe work practices through positive & professional conversation.
- Notify Whiting-Turner safety staff following stop-work directives, or suggested direction/re-direction of work
- Attend and participate in pre-task safety huddles & stretch/flex.
- Review & comment on trade partner documented, pre-task plans, inspections, permits, checklists, lift · plans, etc. Exemplary or deficient findings documented.
- Document and closeout field observations and recognitions electronically with phone or tablet in the field.
- Review and assist in closure of client EHS observations.
- Complete assigned inspections & audits (fire protection, hazard communication and other rotating · topics).
- Attend and participate in scheduled site all-hands meetings.
- Attend and participate in scheduled safety team site walks.
- Hours include evenings and weekends, coordinated and scheduled by Whiting-Turner staff.
- This position is full-time, and the people provided by the consultant will be expected to work
- Regardless of weather events unless directed otherwise.
Requirements:
- Project Safety Manager (needed when onsite workforce personnel exceed 40 or high-risk operations are underway)
- Bachelor’s in EHS 3 years of full-time CM safety experience OR OSHA 500 6 years of full-time CM safety experience (use the OR section of this requirement for the initial candidate search)
