What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weld Pipe (Super) position at Environmental Air Systems?
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct pipe fabrication and welding projects to ensure timely and precise completion.
- Manage and coordinate on-site teams, adapting team sizes to project needs.
- Align subcontractor activities with project goals and schedules.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to create, monitor, and maintain schedules.
- Attend mandatory site meetings and assist in project planning and execution.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct weekly safety "toolbox" talks.
- Maintain MSDS and ensure compliance with Haz-com regulations.
- Facilitate clear communication between field personnel, Project Managers, and stakeholders.
- Handle hiring, performance reviews, promotions, transfers, and vacation schedules.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Field Pipe Superintendent in construction.
- At least 10 years' experience in Weld Piping and Fabrication.
- In-depth knowledge of welding and piping processes and industry standards.
- Proficient in jobsite management, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively to project sites.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
