Responsibilities:
- Aluminum Welding - Perform TIG welding on aluminum components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
- Fabrication - Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure accurate assembly and welding of aluminum parts for environmental control systems.
- Quality Assurance - Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Safety Compliance - Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Report any safety concerns or issues promptly.
- Equipment Maintenance - Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaboration - Work closely with other team members, including engineers and fabricators, to achieve project goals and timelines.
- Problem Solving - Identify and address any issues related to welding processes, materials, or equipment, proposing solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
- Welding Expertise - Proven experience in TIG welding, with a focus on aluminum materials. Certification in welding is highly desirable.
- Blueprint Reading - Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
