Child Care Teacher

We are seeking a Full-Time Child Care Teacher.
MONDAY- FRIDAY 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM
1 HR LUNCH
Age Group: 2 year olds
Class size: 10 children
Salary: Starting pay to be discussed on experience and certifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age
High School Diploma or G.E.D. IS REQUIERED
A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is highly preferred; equivalent early childhood education experience may also be considered
Must be able to pass full background check
Dependability is crucial
Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus (may obtain after hire)
Self- Starter with a friendly and outgoing demeanour, organized, posses strong communication skills, and willingness to engage in play with children
Implement and follow Frog Street Curriculum and daily activities
Engage Children in hands-on learning experiences
Teach social and self-help skills
Provide a positive, safe, and encouraging environment
Support the children in their overall development
Responsibilities
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care.
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Manage classroom behavior and foster positive interactions among children.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid readiness.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support children with special needs and disabilities.
