Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in various childcare settings, including preschool, daycare, and nannying. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop essential skills.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
Part time: 1 pm to 6:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and supportive manner.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Collaborate with other caregivers or educators to ensure consistent care.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Ability to perform closing duties Monday through Friday
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as preschool, daycare, or babysitting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is highly desirable.
