Responsibilities
- Operate scissor lifts safely and effectively while performing cleaning tasks at elevated heights in accordance with safety protocols and certification requirements
- Conduct thorough cleaning of ceilings, walls, fixtures, and hard-to-reach areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques
- Perform general janitorial duties including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
- Handle chemicals responsibly by following proper procedures for mixing, application, and disposal to ensure safety and compliance with infection control standards
- Utilize pressure washing equipment for exterior surfaces when necessary, ensuring thorough cleaning without damage
- Maintain all cleaning equipment in good working order through regular inspection and basic troubleshooting
- Adhere strictly to personal protective equipment (PPE) use guidelines to ensure safety during all cleaning activities
- Support heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies or equipment while following manual handling best practices

Skills
