Position Overview:
As an HR Operations Specialist, you will support the day-to-day execution of HR initiatives and employee lifecycle activities across the US organization. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys building structure in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including employment documentation, system updates, background checks, and employee communications
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and internal HR systems
- Assist with benefits administration, and coordination with Finance and external vendors
- Help ensure compliance with federal and state HR requirements, including leave tracking, required trainings, documentation, and labor law postings
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR operations, policies, benefits, and general administrative questions
- Support performance review cycles by tracking deadlines, maintaining documentation, and following up with managers and employees
- Coordinate with external partners such as benefits providers, background check vendors, and immigration attorneys when needed
- Support benefits open enrollment processes, employee communication, and system updates
- Assist with improving HR processes, workflows, and operational documentation
- Prepare HR reports, trackers, and spreadsheets to support day-to-day HR operations
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or HR Generalist roles
- Experience working with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, same as HRCI or SHRM certification is a strong plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with large amounts of information while maintaining accuracy and organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable communicating with employees, managers, and external vendors
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, HR systems, and documentation management tools
- Service-oriented mindset with professionalism and good judgment
- Experience supporting multi-state employee populations is a plus
