Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution
- Manage multiple automatic door installation projects simultaneously from kickoff to closeout
- Review project scope, specifications, and contracts to ensure full understanding of requirements
- Develop project timelines, schedules, and milestones
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, general contractors, and vendors
- Provide regular project updates and proactively address issues
- Manage change orders and communicate impacts to schedule and cost
- Work closely with installation technicians and field supervisors
- Schedule crews and ensure proper staffing for each project
- Work with Field Supervisor to monitor progress and quality of work
- Ensure compliance with ANSI standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Track project budgets, costs, and profitability
- Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and expenses
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Ensure accurate billing and timely project closeout
- Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Oversee inspections and final project walkthroughs
- Maintain proper documentation including permits, warranties, and closeout packages
- Identify and resolve project issues, delays, or conflicts
- Adjust schedules and resources as needed to maintain project success
- Escalate critical issues to management when necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- 3 years of project management experience in construction, doors, glazing, or related field
- Experience with automatic pedestrian doors strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
