What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Full-Time Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the financial heartbeat of our organization—ensuring vendors are paid accurately, records are organized, and processes run smoothly.

• Invoice Processing – Reconcile, code, and process invoices for payment while verifying purchase orders, authorizations, and accuracy.
• Vendor Relations – Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain up-to-date records.
• Financial Accuracy – Review accounts payable aging reports, open purchase order logs, and ensure proper documentation.
• Tax & Compliance – Collect W-9s, track resale certificates, and assist with sales/use tax reporting and year-end 1099 processing.
• Reporting & Support – Generate payable analyses, assist in special financial projects, and provide receptionist backup as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education & Experience – Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Attention to Detail – Accuracy and consistency in reviewing invoices and maintaining vendor records.
• Communication Skills – Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.
• Technical Skills – Familiarity with accounting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency preferred).
• Team Player – Positive attitude, adaptability, and reliability in a fast-paced office environment.
