Job Description
EnterpriseKC (EKC) is hiring a full-time contract Data & Product Support Specialist to support World Cup 2026™ initiatives in the Kansas City region. This role will contribute to data preparation, reporting, and mobile app/product support for projects delivered in partnership with KC2026 and regional stakeholders. The Specialist will be hands-on with data wrangling, coordination, testing/QA support, and day-to-day execution across multiple workstreams. They should have a strong focus on user/customer experience and experience with CRM systems/infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the World Cup data and insights workstream by collecting, cleaning, organizing, and validating datasets from internal and external sources.
- Assist with dashboard/reporting deliverables (e.g., basic analysis, summaries, QA checks, formatting, documentation).
- Provide mobile app/product support, including requirements intake, coordination with developers/vendors, testing support, and release-readiness tasks.
- Coordinate across partners (EKC team, KC2026 stakeholders, vendors) to track requests, timelines, and deliverables.
- Maintain clear documentation (data dictionaries, process notes, issue logs, version control, etc.) to ensure continuity and stakeholder alignment.
- Support ad hoc operational needs tied to major event planning and real-time monitoring during peak periods.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Comfortable working with data in a practical, hands-on way (cleaning, organizing, QA/validation).
- Strong focus on user/customer experience.
- Strong organizational skills; can manage tasks across multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Clear communicator who can translate needs between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams.
- Detail-oriented; able to follow processes and catch inconsistencies.
- Interest in sports, tourism/economic impact, civic tech, or large-event operations is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CRM systems/infrastructure, data manipulation, and an understanding of how data populates in a web view to the user.
- Experience supporting a digital product, website, or app (testing/QA, ticketing systems, requirements capture) is helpful.
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets; basic reporting and data organization skills.
- Familiarity with dashboards/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
- Exposure to SimpleView platform, SQL, Python is helpful but not required.
