Pipefy has appointed Josh Roth as Vice President of Revenue and Head of US Sales. His appointment follows the departure of Salvatore Tocco at the end of 2023.

Tocco is now VP of Sales at Laylo. Roth has fifteen years of sales experience, 9 of which are in sales leadership.

Who is Josh Roth? Josh Roth, Vice President of Revenue and Head of US Sales at Pipefy

Roth has had a career across several sectors. He joined from Lob, where he was Vice President, Commercial Sales. Having overseen a 400% increase in revenue from $20 million to $100 million during nearly three years there.

He had joined the company as Sr Director Inside Sales & Enablement.

Roth spent 18 months at WalkMe as Sr. Business Development Manager. He was head of Sales at Presidio for four years. There he helped turn the company around from $200,000 in debt to $1.

5m of EBITA in 4 years. Roth was appointed interim head of sales during his time there and managed teams of up to 25 employees : sales reps, account executives and sales development managers.

He co-founded SDRDefenders, a community of revenue professionals that was acquired by Pavilion the same day that WalkMe had its IPO.

While the last decade has been spent at tech firms, he started his career in sports. He was Marketing Communications Manager for the University of Oregon Athletic Department.

That was before joining the New York Mets, first in Inside sales, and then successfully rising to become the enterprise sales executive.

Roth commented, This is a really exciting time to join Pipefy, to bring its AI-driven workflow automation solution to more companies worldwide, helping them improve productivity and efficiency.

We have a diverse group of sales professionals located worldwide at Pipefy. And I am thrilled to lead this exceptional team.

Roth also holds a BA degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Oregon. He also holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.

Pipefy has managed to snag a rapidly rising star in Roth. He has been successful in the roles he has held to date and is an experienced sales leader.

He has a big challenge ahead, to grow revenue at Pipefy in the US. Can Roth be as successful in his previous roles? He certainly has the experience both in terms of selling and building successful sales teams.
