About You:
- Education & Credentials: You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA license highly preferred.
- Professional Experience: You bring 5 years of experience within the construction industry or a closely related project-driven field.
- Leadership Profile: You are a highly personable leader with a proven ability to manage, train, and develop accounting teams while resolving complex operational problems.
- Strategic Mindset: You possess strong business acumen and analytical skills, allowing you to align financial reporting with strategic goals to drive profitability.
About Work:
As a key leadership figure, you will manage all aspects of financial and operational reporting while collaborating across departments to drive business results.
- Financial Oversight: Lead the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements for ownership and coordinate with external accounting firms as necessary.
- Process Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve procedures across all accounting functions, designing new workflows to enhance efficiency and systems.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Implement and lead the company's budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure sound financial planning.
- Departmental Management: Directly supervise the accounting team, handling everything from hiring and training to performance appraisals and work direction.
- Executive Collaboration: Partner with ownership and administrative staff to support organizational goals and maintain high levels of professional integrity.
