As a Technical Writer at ENTEK, you’ll play a key role in documenting processes and developing training materials that support our manufacturing operations.You’ll work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and cross-functional teams to create clear, accurate, and engaging documentation that helps employees succeed.
In this role, you will:
- Develop clear, concise work instructions, SOPs, and training materials
- Create and support online training content, including videos and documentation
- Interview subject matter experts and gather information for assignments
- Observe manufacturing processes to understand workflows and training needs
- Organize and analyze information to produce structured, user-friendly content
- Incorporate visuals such as photos, diagrams, and formatting to enhance learning
- Collaborate with Training & Development staff to review and finalize materials
- Follow established processes to publish and distribute training content
- Support training calendars and departmental deliverables
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation and training processes
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in technical writing or process documentation
- Strong proofreading and formatting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to clearly communicate complex information in a simple, effective way
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience creating training materials or instructional content
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Portfolio or examples of technical writing work
