What You’ll Do

As a Custodian Lead, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of ENTEK facilities while helping coordinate daily activities for the janitorial team. You’ll play an important role in ensuring employees and visitors experience a clean, safe, and well-maintained work environment while supporting ENTEK’s commitment to operational excellence.

In This Role, You Will

• Ensure cleanliness of restrooms, sinks, showers, toilets, urinals, hoppers, and mirrors
• Clean kitchenettes, lunchrooms, conference rooms, copy rooms, and common areas
• Empty and sanitize trash containers and replenish supplies as needed
• Refill soap, paper towel, and tissue dispensers throughout the facility
• Collect shredded materials from designated areas and place them in appropriate disposal bins
• Dust mop, wet mop, vacuum, and maintain offices, lunchrooms, and select shop areas
• Clean furniture, desks, counters, windows, screens, walls, doorframes, and ledges
• Strip and wax flooring using specialized equipment
• Steam clean carpets and other surfaces as needed
• Monitor completion of janitorial duties for yourself and the custodial team
• Direct and prioritize janitorial assignments based on daily facility needs
• Order and maintain inventories of janitorial supplies and materials
• Ensure work areas are maintained to 5S standards
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical handling guidelines
• Promote company policies, support management decisions, and maintain professional interactions with employees, visitors, and business partners
• Assist with special cleaning projects and other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements: What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous custodial, janitorial, or facility maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of proper chemical use, storage, and disposal procedures
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with employees at all levels
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organized workplace
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating custodial teams
• Experience operating floor stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning equipment
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or office environments
• Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement principles
  
  

Your Work Schedule

This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday through Friday. Employees spend the majority of the workday on their feet and should be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
