What You’ll Do
As an Electrician / Millwright, you’ll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. You’ll play a critical role in supporting production uptime, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
In This Role, You Will
- Perform routine electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Install electrical systems and components in accordance with Oregon electrical codes and company standards
- Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC drives, PLC-based control systems, instrumentation, and electrical equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC ladder logic documentation
- Layout, build, and wire small to medium-sized electrical control panels
- Program, calibrate, and troubleshoot instruments and controllers
- Identify electrical deficiencies and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment downtime
- Create, manage, and complete maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently
- Specify and coordinate procurement of electrical components and replacement parts
- Respond to emergency electrical issues and support plant operations as needed
- Follow Lean manufacturing principles including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain safe work practices, including lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety standards

Minimum Qualifications
- Three (3) years of electrical experience and/or Millwright experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, drives, instrumentation, and automation systems
- Experience building and wiring electrical control panels
- Computer proficiency and experience with maintenance management systems
- Experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment
