Sr Mechanical Engineer
Key Experience
lead hardware development for satellite communication products end-to-end, from concept to production and beyond.
MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other STEM discipline.
- Skilled with CAD (Creo, SolidWorks or Fusion 360) and engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD, etc.), confident validating your designs and explaining the results to others.
- 5 years of experience in an engineering setting.
- Some exposure to mechanical design & analysis, testing, and electronics.
- A solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials.
- Bonus points for experience in manufacturing.
- Exposure to GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis for production-ready designs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic board assembly design, including mechanical integration, mounting strategies, and thermal management solutions .
- Working knowledge of electronics design across chip-level, package-level, and board-level integration.
- Familiarity with RF, EMI/EMC considerations in hardware design
- Background in manufacturing environments and production scaling.
- Knowledge of supply chain, production processes, and lifecycle management.
- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
