Job Description:
The candidate will work as a Project Manager in a small, privately-owned machining job shop. They will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing custom manufacturing projects involving machined components according to strict deadlines and budgets. The role requires managing resources and coordinating team efforts to ensure project objectives are met while maintaining quality control.
- Skill Requirements
Must-Have Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in Project Management with a focus on machining process development & execution
- Strong understanding of both MANUFACTURING & MACHINING processes
- Experience working in a "JOB SHOP environment"
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD
- Ability to purchase materials, write PO's, create shop routings, perform time audits
Preferred Requirements:
- Strong general computer skills
- Excellent communication & leadership skills
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
