Process Development Engineer
Must have a minimum of 6 years of Process Development experience
Process Engineer to support the development, optimization, and scale-up of chemical processes from laboratories through pilot-scale operations.
Process Engineer Job Responsibilities:
· Design, plan, and execute laboratory and pilot-scale experiments to support process development and optimization
· Safely operated laboratory and pilot-scale equipment
· Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data to guide process improvements and scale-up decisions
· Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of experimental procedures, results, and observations
· Utilize analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and imaging to characterize materials and processes
· Troubleshoot process and equipment issues in both lab and pilot plant environments
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, operations, and quality to advance project objectives
· Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
· Support scale-up activities and technology transfer from lab to production environments
· Apply statistical and computational tools (Excel, MATLAB, Python, etc.) for data analysis, modeling, and reporting
Process Engineer Job Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
Master’s degree (M.S.) preferred
· 6 years of relevant experience in chemical process development or related environments
· Hands-on experience working in laboratory and pilot-scale settings
· Strong background in chemistry and chemical processes
· Experience with analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and imaging techniques
· Proven troubleshooting skills in laboratory and pilot-plant environments
· Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, MATLAB, Python, or similar
