Position Summary
Senior Security Engineer responsible for securing connected vehicle systems, embedded controllers, vehicle networks, and related cloud-based services.
Job Requirements
- 8 years of full-stack software development experience
- Experience developing Python-based backend services
- Experience with Linux distributions
- Experience applying cryptographic security controls to embedded systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience securing embedded controllers, vehicle networks, or connected vehicle systems
- Experience working with embedded software, electrical systems, and cloud platform technologies
- Knowledge of global cybersecurity regulatory requirements
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing IoT devices
- PKI experience, including certificate lifecycle management and key protection
- DevOps experience
- Experience developing AWS-native applications
- Experience designing security solutions for autonomous systems
- Experience with key management and access control in resource-constrained embedded environments
Job Responsibilities
- Define and review security architectures for embedded systems
- Influence feature design across embedded, cloud, and mobile platforms to meet security requirements
- Design key management mechanisms for embedded environments
- Design access control mechanisms for resource-constrained embedded systems
- Apply cryptographic security controls across connected vehicle systems
- Support security architecture decisions across multiple product lines
- Assess cybersecurity risks related to embedded controllers, vehicle networks, and connected services
- Implement security controls in collaboration with embedded software, electrical systems, and cloud platform teams
- Design and develop security solutions to support autonomous vehicle capabilities
- Support product resilience against evolving cybersecurity threats
