What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at Entegee?
We’re seeking an early-career Controls Engineer to join our team and work alongside a seasoned Senior Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within a stable, well-established organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, HMI, and MES systems (Allen-Bradley, Wonderware).
- Support electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting across the plant.
- Design and update HMI/MMI screens and maintain accurate system documentation.
- Perform control system audits, calibrations, and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and equipment reliability.
What We’re Looking For:
- AS or BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (SLC500, PLC5, ControlLogix) and Wonderware InTouch/InTrack.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, SQL, and MS Office.
- Understanding of industrial controls, electrical systems (up to 480V), and automation networks.
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA-70E, and ISA standards.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Food manufacturing experience, and familiarity with VFDs and TCP/IP networks, preferred.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
