Plant Controller
We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the financial operations of our manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for accurate financial reporting, strategic planning, cash flow optimization, and internal controls, while partnering closely with operations and leadership. The Controller will also play an active role in APQP and product development processes and help reinforce our company’s values and employee engagement culture.
Must have UAW Union experience!
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver monthly and annual plant financial statements accurately and on schedule
- Analyze financial and operational data to support decision-making and business performance
- Develop the annual business plan and prepare quarterly forecasts
- Manage and optimize cash flow and working capital
- Conduct and oversee internal audit activities to ensure compliance and strong financial controls
- Participate in APQP and PDP activities, completing assigned deliverables
- Serve as the accountable leader for Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) results and follow-up actions
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience, including supervisory responsibility, in a manufacturing or related environment
- Strong experience with computerized accounting systems
- SAP ERP experience
- OneStream Software knowledge
- Working knowledge of automotive core tools, including APQP
- Proven ability to analyze complex data, meet deadlines, and work cross-functionally
