Mechanical Machine Builder needed to assemble, integrate, troubleshoot, and test complex custom automation machinery from mechanical drawings and schematics.
Job Requirements
- 5–10 years of mechanical machine building experience
- Experience building machines from scratch
- Experience assembling complex custom automation machinery
- Ability to work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience installing pneumatic components
- Experience installing hydraulic components
- Basic electrical component installation experience
- Experience with mechanical troubleshooting
- Experience with alignment and precision adjustment of moving components
- Ability to support testing, debugging, and system startup activities
- Ability to work 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated machinery systems and sub-assemblies
- Experience integrating mechanical systems with controls and manufacturing requirements
- Experience supporting field service teams with equipment-related needs
- Experience working with custom packaging, automation, or machinery manufacturing equipment
- Experience maintaining clean and safe assembly work areas
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble complex automated machinery, systems, and sub-assemblies
- Build custom machinery from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Install pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical components
- Coordinate with engineering, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment meets specifications
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting on machinery and assemblies
- Complete alignment and precision adjustments on moving components
- Assist with equipment testing, debugging, and startup activities
- Support field service teams with equipment needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
