Manufacturing Engineer

Skills:
• 8–10 years of aerospace manufacturing experience is required.
• Solid understanding of materials, outside processing, NDT procedures, and specifications related to precision aerospace parts and assemblies. This position focuses heavily on manufacturing processes rather than traditional quality functions.
• Familiarity with design and drafting standards, GD&T, and strong ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications. Must have practical experience creating and reviewing work instructions based on engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, industry quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Exposure to basic machining processes—such as milling, turning, and grinding—is advantageous.
• Experience working with aerospace-grade materials, composites, and specialized aviation coatings.
• Previous background collaborating with aviation OEMs or MRO facilities is preferred.
Job Description:
• Evaluate supplier and internal engineering drawings to ensure manufacturability and straightforward installation.
• Monitor and manage inventory required throughout the production cycle.
• Contribute to reducing non-conformances and improving overall production yield.
• Create and implement effective inventory management practices to balance stock levels, reduce waste, and guarantee availability of critical materials and components.
• Assess and provide cost-based recommendations for suppliers, tools, and equipment to support efficient manufacturing processes.
