Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Fabrication Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive technology. This is a great opportunity for early-career candidates with training or experience in automotive mechanics, welding, or fabrication who are eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support automotive assembly and vehicle builds
- Perform metal fabrication and basic welding (MIG/TIG – roughly 50/50)
- Assist with prototype development, including 3D printing
- Operate fabrication equipment such as waterjet and bending machines
- Use hand and power tools to assemble and modify components
- Follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks accurately
- Collaborate with team members to meet build and production goals
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in automotive, fabrication, or mechanical work (or relevant training)
- Basic knowledge of welding and assembly
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive technology
- Experience using common hand tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
Preferred Skills
- MIG/TIG welding experience
- Exposure to rapid prototyping (3D printing)
- Experience with metal fabrication or shop equipment
- Background in automotive builds or repair
