Electrical Manufacturing Engineer - Santa Barbara, CA - On-site Only
- Salary Range: 110,000 - 130,000

- Hours: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday)
Summary: Seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to lead supply chain enhancements and support electronic design and system integration for high-performance applications.
Requirements:
- BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5 years experience or MS degree with 2 years experience
- Experience in integration and verification of high-performance analog designs
- Proficiency in FPGAs/microprocessor programming, system controls, data acquisition, and analysis
- Skills in troubleshooting electronic circuits at component level
- Experience with PCB design, analysis, assembly, test, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with OrCAD/Cadence Allegro, Altera/Quartus, PSpice or similar tools
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and manage BOMs
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in electronic design for instrumentation or metrology involving high-performance control and data acquisition
- Knowledge of power supplies and high voltage designs
- Familiarity with standards like IPC, ISO, CE (EMC & Safety)
- Experience managing third-party contractors
Responsibilities:
- Lead enhancements to supply chain processes and resolve end-of-life issues for test equipment
- Support AFM system control evolution through electronics design and prototyping
- Evaluate alternative design approaches through analysis, modeling, and testing
- Select components based on function, reliability, availability, and cost considerations
- Develop test plans to verify performance against requirements
