Engineering Technician – Opto‑Electronic Systems
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to assemble, test, and support advanced opto‑electronic systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to travel globally to support customer installations and system integrations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble, align, and test opto‑electronic and optical systems according to engineering specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Support system installation, troubleshooting, and validation at customer sites worldwide
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve assembly and performance issues
- Maintain accurate build and service documentation
- Ensure systems meet quality and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience assembling opto‑electronic systems
- Proven ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills
- Comfortable working with precision optical components
- Willing and able to travel extensively to customer sites globally
- Experience with optical alignment, lasers, or photonics systems
- Background in engineering, electronics, or a related technical field
- Experience supporting customers in field or on-site environments
