Duties And Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, and other equipment.
- Fabricate, assemble, and test dies, gauges, and fixtures to precise tolerances.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing tools and dies.
- Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and maintenance to improve processes and support machine repairs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker (apprenticeship or equivalent technical training preferred).
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, metallurgy, and precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, follow technical instructions, and meet deadlines.
