Technical Design Director

Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Director to provide leadership on the technical design and fabrication side of our business. This role serves as the bridge between creative concepts and real-world production, ensuring ideas can be successfully designed, engineered, fabricated, and executed.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical and fabrication background, understands materials, production methods, CNC and machine-driven manufacturing processes, and can evaluate structural feasibility before projects move into production. While a licensed engineering background is not required, the successful candidate will have an engineering mindset and know when outside technical or structural review is necessary

• ndTechnical design, scenic fabrication, event production, custom displays, exhibits, manufacturing, or engineering-adjacent industrie
• s.Experience with CNC machinery, fabrication equipment, production files, and manufacturing processe
• s.Strong understanding of materials, structural considerations, and fabrication technique
• s.Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and translate creative concepts into executable solution
• s.Hands-on problem solver with a practical, production-focused mindse
