Registered Nurse

Currently Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a multi-specialty practice.The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional telephone and face-to-face nursing care to patients in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures. This role supports physicians and ensures high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. Contract to direct hire.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Setting

Schedule

Monday – Friday Shift options:

• • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Free parking
• Consistent weekday schedule (no weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respirations), height, weight, and allergies
• Identify and report abnormal findings to physicians
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures
• Perform venipuncture, IV therapy, and administer injections as ordered
• Dispense medications per physician orders and document in EMR
• Provide patient education on conditions, treatments, and recovery expectations
• Assist with and coordinate treatments, procedures, and surgeries

Care Coordination & Administrative Duties

Schedule and coordinate:

• • Diagnostic testing
  • X-rays
  • Specialist referrals
  • Inpatient admissions
• Review lab and diagnostic results; notify physicians of abnormalities
• Communicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients
• Review discharge instructions and ensure patient understanding
• Call in prescriptions and refills as directed
• Accurately document all patient care, procedures, and observations in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Verify physician orders and diagnostic forms for completeness and accuracy

Patient Communication & Support

• Triage incoming patient calls and respond appropriately
• Relay messages to providers and staff

Clinical Environment Responsibilities

• Maintain exam rooms and clinical areas
• Ensure medical supplies, equipment, and medications are stocked and available
• Provide timely follow-up communication regarding results and care plans
