What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant / PRN need position at Entech Medical Staffing?
We have an immediate need for a part-time Medical Assistant/ PRN for a practice located in Howell/Brighton area. This position is an excellent opportunity for a professional and compassionate medical assistant to support patients and ensure seemless healthcare operations.
Clinical duties involve:
- Assist the Nurse Practitioner with patient exams
- Interview the patient for medical history and current medications
- Obtain accurate vital signs
- Prep patient for examination.
- Assist with minor procedures
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain medical supplies
- Clearing and sanitizing examination room
- Make sure examination rooms are properly stocked with supplies.
- Must remain professional at all times
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
SCHEDULE:
Thurs, 4/9: 8a-12p
Mon, 4/20: 9a-1p
Wed, 4/22: 8a-12p
Wed, 4/29: 9:30a-1:30p
Thurs, 4/30: 8a-12p
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma and/or transcripts.
· EMR systems experience/knowledge
· Min. 1-2 years of medical assisting experience
· Must have excellent attendance, dependable and have reliable transportation
· BLS with the American Heart Association or able to renew
Pay Rate: $22

Pay: $22.00 per hour
