About The Role
As an Allergy Technician for our clinic(s), you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and medical assistance in allergy medicine.
What You’ll Do
PATIENT AND CUSTOMER FACING DUTIES
- Setting appointments with patients
- Taking patient medical information, history, and vital signs
- Performing lab work and collecting samples for laboratory testing
- Assisting staff, practitioners, and physicians in office procedures and visits
- Assisting with patients’ examinations
- Performing allergy tests, skin tests, and pulmonary function tests
- Preparing medications and injections
- Communicating effectively with patients about managing symptoms or issues
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with privacy and security regulations.
- Maintain office policies, procedures, and daily workflow.
- Request medical records from medical offices and insurance companies.
- Maintain a clean, professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist in maintaining clean and functional clinic.
- Perform administrative functions, including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of medical and office supplies.
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Ability to self-manage and work independently.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems independently.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a prominent level of professionalism.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, compassionate care, professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, and teamwork.
- Ability to remain focused for extended periods and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- On-site, clinical office setting.
- Monday–Friday, daytime schedule; occasional after-hours meetings may be required.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, move throughout the office as needed, and perform light lifting; manual dexterity required for frequent computer and phone use.
