About Enso Pilates
Enso Pilates is a boutique Classical Pilates studio located in Downtown Brooklyn, specializing in personalized private and duet training, as well as small-group apparatus classes.
Rooted in the traditional Pilates method, we are dedicated to helping clients build strength, improve mobility, and develop a deeper understanding of their bodies through thoughtful, individualized instruction.
We are looking for passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated comprehensively certified Pilates instructors to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-quality private, duet, and small-group Pilates sessions.
- Design personalized sessions based on clients' individual goals, physical abilities, and experience levels.
- Teach Classical Pilates exercises across the full range of apparatus, including Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Wunda Chair, Barrels, and Mat.
- Provide clear verbal cues, hands-on corrections when appropriate, and modifications to ensure safe and effective movement.
- Assess clients' progress and thoughtfully adapt sessions to support long-term development.
- Build strong relationships with clients and create a welcoming, supportive studio environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional teaching space.
- Communicate effectively with studio management regarding scheduling and client needs.
Qualifications
Required:
- Comprehensive Pilates certification covering Mat and all major apparatus.
- Strong understanding of Classical Pilates principles, exercise progressions, and safe movement mechanics.
- Ability to confidently teach private sessions to clients with varying experience levels.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-service skills.
- Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to continued learning.
Preferred:
- Formal Classical Pilates training or substantial experience teaching Classical Pilates.
- Previous experience teaching private and duet sessions.
- Experience working with clients of different ages, fitness levels, and movement needs.
- Availability during evenings and/or weekends.
