Overview
We are seeking an efficient and meticulous Service Bartender to join our team. This is a dedicated front-of-house role; you will be the engine of our bar expo, preparing all beverage orders for the dining room servers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong technical bartending skills, and prefers focusing on execution and quality control over direct customer interaction. Compensation includes tips. Training is 10 days.
Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Accurately and quickly prepare all drink orders (cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages) as requested by the serving staff via our Point of Sale (POS) system tickets.
- Quality Control: Ensure every drink meets our restaurant’s standards for taste, presentation, and appropriate garnishment before it leaves the bar area.
- Efficiency and Speed: Maintain a rapid pace during peak service hours while minimizing errors and waste.
- Stock Management: Assist with stocking and organizing bar inventory, including spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware. Communicate low stock levels to the Bar Manager promptly.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the service bar station clean, sanitary, and organized at all times, adhering to all local health and safety regulations.
- Server Support (as needed): Occasionally assist with running drinks from the bar to the dining tables to ensure timely service during rushes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting is preferred. Prior experience as a service bartender is a plus.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of classic cocktail recipes, beer, and wine varieties.
- Speed & Accuracy: Must be able to manage multiple drink orders simultaneously with high accuracy.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player who can work independently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and move quickly behind a confined bar space.
- Certifications: Relevant alcohol handling certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) is not required, but a plus.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 19.0 – 23.0 per week
