Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for orders, payments, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service regulations and promoting safe drinking practices.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or small plates during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using basic math skills and retail math principles while ensuring accuracy in cashiering duties.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours in nightclubs, restaurants, or event settings.
- Uphold all food safety protocols related to food handling and beverage preparation to guarantee guest safety.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and cash handling.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol service is essential.
- Experience in catering or retail math helps ensure accurate billing and transaction management.
- Strong background in hospitality or food service roles that involve serving guests in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or restaurants.
