We are a growing Houston law firm led by an experienced attorney with many years of practice. With a close-knit team of 5-7 members, we handle Criminal, Personal Injury, and Immigration cases and provide personalized service to our clients. We are motivated to keep growing and are looking for a driven individual who wants to grow with us.
We are seeking a reliable and professional Legal Receptionist who excels at both front-desk customer service and full administrative support. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for a motivated individual who brings either prior relevant experience OR higher-level education/training (one is sufficient). You will gain valuable hands-on experience working with a wide variety of cases and have the opportunity to learn and grow as the firm expands.
Compensation: $18–$23 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and professionally while managing a multi-line phone system
- Deliver excellent customer service in both English and Spanish to help attract and retain clients, turning inquiries into new business opportunities
- Handle client intake, scheduling, and attorney calendar management
- Perform a wide range of administrative tasks including document preparation, filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Maintain strict confidentiality with all sensitive legal information
- Support daily office operations and assist with projects as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Either 1 years of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience OR some higher education, college coursework, paralegal studies, or other targeted training (one qualifies you to apply)
- Extreme fluency in Spanish (both spoken and written) — Most of our clients prefer to communicate in Spanish, so bilingual proficiency is required
- Strong phone presence and interpersonal skills — comfort with client-facing interactions is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and willingness to learn legal practice management software
- Professional demeanor, attention to detail, reliability, and a positive team-player attitude
- A motivated mindset and desire to grow with a growing firm
Bonus Skills (a plus, but not required):
- Any type of sales or customer acquisition experience
- Social media experience or familiarity
