We are looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney who wants to do meaningful work in a firm that prioritizes excellence and sustainability.This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in Washington State and be available to appear in person for court proceedings and required local obligations.What We Offer:Expected compensation: $130,000–$180,000 DOE bonus opportunities401(k) with employer matchUnlimited PTO paid holidaysFully remote position with flexibility to support your work style and lifeStrong paralegal and administrative support, allowing attorneys to focus on legal strategy and client advocacyComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceCLE support and professional development opportunitiesTech-forward systems and streamlined workflows designed to reduce unnecessary stressGrowth opportunities as our firm continues to expand across CA and WAA supportive, collaborative culture that is flexible to employee needs while maintaining exceptional client-first serviceResponsibilities:Handle family law cases from inception through resolution, including strategy, drafting, discovery, and court appearances.Draft declarations, RFOs, trial briefs, status conference statements, settlement proposals, and discovery-related documents.Make court appearances for hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.Conduct legal research and develop case strategy in collaboration with the Managing Attorney.Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, counsel, and support.Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations.Manage deadlines, court dates, and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to ensure cases run smoothly.Maintain organized, timely work that aligns with internal billing expectations and supports efficient case progress.Requirements:Active WA State Bar license in good standing (required)3-5 years of family law experience in a law firm setting.Strong litigation skills, including drafting, discovery work, and courtroom advocacy.Experience handling custody, DV, support, and property matters.Excellent legal writing skills and attention to detail.Ability to independently manage a caseload while working well within a supportive team.Strong client communication skills and a compassionate, solution-oriented approach.California Bar admission in good standing (required).Trial or evidentiary hearing experience is a plus.Ability to handle high-conflict cases professionally and confidently.Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet reasonable billing goals without sacrificing quality or well-being.Why Join Us:We’re a growing firm that values good work, clear communication, and a healthy pace.
