Essential Functions
- Setup and operate complex CNC machinery, including multi-axis machines.
- Program and edit machine controls to optimize performance.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and quality issues.
- Train and mentor junior machinists.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: 2-3 years of CNC machining experience, including simple setup and operation
- Expertise in blueprint reading and advanced GD&T application.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, including basic GD&T concepts
- Knowledge of G-code programming adjustments and tooling
- Skilled in precision measurements and quality inspections
- Ability to receive feedback and respond effectively to instructions
- Effective communication with colleagues, supervisors, and engineers to discuss production issues
- Ability to provide informal training to less experienced machinists
- Preferred: Technical certification in machining or manufacturing
- Preferred Experience: Experience in both CNC milling and turning environments
- Sub-spindle machining experience or Swiss machining experience is a plus
